Plant Dyed Silk Scarves 55x55

100% natural silk scarves dyed with plants and flowers from my garden measuring 55x55 cm.  

 

A versatile, multipurpose accessory that can be worn or used as decoration. 

 

Dyed with:

1- Sulfur cosmos.

2- Marigolds, sulfur cosmos, and carnations.

3- Coreopsis flowers and cosmos leaves.

4- Coreopsis flowers and cosmos leaves.

5- Cosmos flowers and leaves.

6- Dahlia flowers.

7- Cosmos and coreopsis flowers.

8- Carnation, verbena, and marigold flowers.

9- Cosmos and coreopsis flowers.

10- Coreopsis plants.

 

Please note - because the silk scarves are hand-rolled, the sizes might vary by a centimeter or two. 

 

1. Hand wash with a neutral soap in cold water up to 30 degrees Celcius.  

2. Dry out of the sun. 

3. Iron on a low setting suitable for silk. 

Botanical dyes are often referred to as living colors because the shades can evolve with time. Fabrics are treated with mineral salts before dyeing to permanently fix the color to the fabric. Following the tips above will best preserve the color over the years.
